Her most significant book, Cum plătim pentru greșelile strămoșilor, delves into psychogenealogy, examining how unresolved family issues and ancestral traumas shape the lives of descendants. In addition to this, Canault authored L’infiniment petit, for which she won the prestigious Totem Prize for Youth Literature in 1992. Through her journalistic and literary work, Canault highlighted the importance of understanding our past to free ourselves from inherited emotional burdens.
